Fall Fun Day just got more fun! John Scanson was at it again, this time creating rocking chairs for the Midkota Preschool thru 3rd grade students. Parents should plan to pick up chairs at their earliest convenience as they are too heavy and bulky to take on the bus. If possible, they will be available at the Fire Hall starting at 2:00 PM tomorrow! Otherwise, please make arrangements with the office.

Seniors and Parents! A Message from BND and Mrs. Brandt:
Join us tonight at 7 p.m. CT for the next Career Discovery Webinar with Catherine Mueller, executive director of Mapping Your Future.
Although the future may seem uncertain right now, completing the FAFSA is one way students can keep their options open. Students considering attending college in the fall of 2021 need to complete the 2021-22 FAFSA to apply for federal financial aid, as well as some state and institutional aid. In this webinar, students and parents will receive an introduction to the FAFSA and have their FAFSA questions answered.
If you are unable to attend, please register for the webinar to have access to the material later.
Career Compass is a one-stop location to access virtual college fairs, presentations about financial literacy, career preparation and College Application Month, along with Bank of North Dakota’s College Handbook. It is brought to you by Bank of North Dakota and Dakota Association for College Admission Counseling - North Dakota Council (DACAC).

GREAT news Midkota! We are excited to report that as of today (Oct. 8), our school buildings will be back at COVID risk level Green A. This means that mask use will once again be optional for our students and staff. Anyone who still wishes to continue to mask is welcome to do so. We want to thank you for your commitment to following our COVID guidelines while we had positive cases within our district. It is because of your support that we are able to resume our level Green A protocol. Great job Midkota!

· There will be no designated student section, and students will not be allowed to stand at any point during the game
· Sometime in September, livestreaming will be available
· Facial coverings are REQUIRED for fans and players when entering the building. Once fans are seated, they may remove their mask if they maintain social distancing
· Locker rooms will be available, and it will be up to the opposing team’s coaches to monitor locker rooms
· Fans are asked to bring exact change when entering the gates ($7/adult - $5/student)
· Concessions will be available
· Fans who are ill are asked not to attend
Titan fans, thank you in advance for abiding by the opposing school's guidelines.

Titan fans and athletes, when we are visiting another school district, we are required to follow their health and safety policies. If they require masks in their buildings, we must wear masks. During this pandemic, schools do not have to allow us into their buildings to watch our athletes. Right now it is a privilege we are grateful to have, and we ask that you represent Griggs-Midkota in a manner with which we can be proud.
