The Midkota Band and Choir students will be participating in the Region 5 Large Group Music Contest on Wednesday, March 11, in Carrington. Students will leave MHS at noon and return roughly around 4-4:15pm that afternoon. Good luck!

The Midkota Speech team was one of 12 teams to compete at the Beth Stokka Memorial tournament at Griggs County Central on Saturday, March 7th.

Midkota Elementary is excited to announce their February students of the month! This month we focused on the character trait of Empathy, and our K-3 grade recipient was Josephine Urness and our 4-6 grade recipient was Liam Hovland. We are proud of you! Congratulations!

A little bit of a quieter week this week. Our boys will play Cavalier today in the District Tourney in Larimore. Tip off is at 3pm. Go Titans!
Track practice will begin either Tuesday or Wednesday this week depending on how the boys do today in Districts.
We will dismiss Thursday at 1:30pm for Parent Teacher Conferences at MHS. Conferences will begin at 2pm and end at 8pm. There will be NO SCHOOL on Friday.

Our Lady Titans will be playing in the state play in game in Mayville tomorrow at Mayville State University at 5pm against EKM. Tickets will be $15.00 (cash) for adults and $5.00 students. Tickets can also be purchased at Go Fan ($10.00 Adults, $5.00 Students): https://gofan.co/app/school/NDHSAA. Scroll down to 2026 NDHSAA Divisions A & B Girls Basketball State Qualifiers - East and click on Buy Tickets. Fans can enter on the east side of the fieldhouse.
There is not an award’s ceremony or any hardware that will be handed out. The winning team will have about 10-15 minutes for pictures on the floor if so desired. Fans are not to rush the floor after your game. Once the losing team exits the gym, we will let the fans of the winning team onto the floor for pictures and congratulations.
WDAY+ will be streaming all 4 games

Wow! What a night! Way to go Lady Titans! A 63-61 win over Hatton/Northwood gave us a 3rd place finish and a state play in game with Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier on Saturday, February 28, at Mayville State at 5pm. Your hard work and perseverance has paid off. We are so proud of you!

The District 3 Boys Basketball Tournament will begin on Friday, February 27 in Larimore. Our boys will play the first game of the day at 3pm against Midway-Minto. Admission to the games will be $10 for adults and $5 for students. Livestream will be on NFHS and radio broadcasts will be on Grafton 100.9 "The Beet" and Mayville's KMAV.
