Midkota Public School and buses will be 1 hour late this morning, Wednesday, November 26th. At this time a portion of our district is in a "No Travel Advised" alert according to the ND DOT. A 1 hour late start will allow everyone to travel in daylight and allow snow plows a chance to work on roads. Breakfast will not be served today. Please travel safely and be sure to have students travel with winter gear.

On Monday, November 24th a small group of Midkota musicians traveled to VCSU to participate in the 44th annual Barnes County Music Festival. The festival invites performers from now 10 area schools to perform band and choir selections on a large, combined concert. Please check out the video. Oh! And parents-this event is open to all of our music students so please join me in encouraging them to attend and perform next year and beyond! This festival is such a wonderful opportunity to play with musicians from other schools and also to be able to perform in the state-of-the-art performance hall at VCSU!!
