Midkota Elementary School would like to recognize our February Students of the Month. February's character trait was Empathy and these students definitely demonstrate empathy for those around them on a daily basis. Congratulations to our K-3 winner: Kipten Stangeland and our 4-6 winner: Kelby Kuster. We are SO proud of you!

And we're off! Midkota Elementary students have a combined goal of 8,154,000 words to read this month. Kindergarten students and their fifth grade helpers helped us EXPLODE into Reading Month with their volcano projects they have been working on. The current top reader in each class also got to try some neat Bernoulli effect balloons out. It's going to be a great month!
