Sports Physical Day at CMC in Cooperstown on August 4th from 9am - 5pm. It is a requirement of the NDHSAA that a HS athlete has a sports physical every year. Schedule yours today!

Midkota currently has two full or part-time paraprofessional positions available at the High School. A full-time para position at Midkota starts at $13.75 plus benefits: health, life and disability insurance as well as vacation and sick leave. Parents and athletes - mark your calendar for the evening of August 2nd, from 5:30pm-8:00pm at GCC, for the G-M Athletics kick-off event. We are bringing in Mike Morgan, a veteran coach, AD, and speaker with Proactive Coaching LLC, to present to parents, athletes, and coaches. This is a must-see event and is open to all parents, students, and community members! Attendance on August 2nd is mandatory for 7-12 athletes and their guardians. Proactive Coaching works with coaches, teams and leaders of industry to help intentionally create character-based team cultures, provide a blueprint for team leadership, develop confident, tough-minded, fearless competitors, and train leaders for excellence and significance. There is no better way to set up Griggs-Midkota for a year of excellence!!

Reminder to Midkota students who are signed up for Drivers Education:
Drivers Ed at Midkota starts next Monday, June 6th, and runs through June 10th. It was go from 9am-3:30pm each day at Midkota Elementary in Binford.
State Track & Field Update:
The Titans finish off the state meet with an 8th place finish in the boys 1600m relay(Relay team: Wayland Sabinash, Gavin Nelson, Aaron Moser, and Josiah Scott)!! Great weekend Titans!!
Update from the State Track Meet at the half way point in competition:
Kaylee Johnson - 6th place in Shot put
Asia Becherl - 2nd place in shot put
Jenna Larson - 2nd place in high jump, 6th place in pole vault

Activity update:
Yesterday’s Region Baseball game was postponed in the 4th inning... we are up 2-0. Game will continue at 11 AM today, Tuesday, May 24th, in Carrington. LET’S GO MUSTANGS!!
Due to region activities that were rescheduled for today, we will be pushing back the start time of the Midkota graduation one half hour. The ceremony is now set to begin at 2:30pm. Seniors, please be at the school at 1:30pm or as soon as you can safely arrive. Congratulations Graduating Class of 2022!!
Activity Update:
The region baseball game tomorrow, May 21st, will now be played in Jamestown, at Jack Brown Stadium, at 10 AM. Bus leaves McHenry at 7:35am and MHS at 7:45am.
