School Board Election
June 11, 2024
Notice is hereby given that the annual school district election of the Midkota Public School District No. 7 will be held on June 11, 2024 at the polling locations listed below.
The polls will open from 11:00 am CDT and will close at 7:00 pm CDT that day.
The following offices are up for election:
Binford Precinct (3-year term)
Glenfield-Sutton-McHenry Precinct (3-year term)
Grace City Precinct (3-year Term)
The polling locations are as follows:
Binford Precinct - Midkota Elementary School, Binford
GSM Precinct - Midkota High School, Glenfield
Grace City Precinct - Schoolhouse Café, Grace City
In addition, voters will vote on whether the district shall publish in the district newspaper the minutes of the school board meetings.
State Track starts today in Bismarck. Congratulations to all the kids on making it this far, your hard work has paid off. Good luck, Titans!

Midkota High School will be holding an informational meeting for volleyball parents’ grades 4-12 (next year) to discuss the continuation of the volleyball coop with Griggs County Central for the upcoming 2024 season. Elementary Track and Fun Day is a go for Friday, May 17th! :)
There will be no softball, track or golf practice today after school. And just a reminder, the Titan Awards Banquet is tonight at 6pm in the Multipurpose Room at Griggs County Central. Parents of Freshmen athletes are asked to bring a side dish, Sophomores are asked to bring a salad and Juniors are asked to bring a dessert. GCC Athletic Boosters will provide a smoked pork loin for the main dish. Hope to see you there!
Softball and Baseball playoffs start this Saturday, May 18th. Softball will travel to Cavalier with a game start time of 3:30pm. Bus will leave MHS at 11am. Baseball will play the 3rd game of the day at Mayville State University will a start time of around 2:30pm. Bus leave time from MHS is TBD at this time.

The Griggs-Midkota Sports Coop is looking to fill the Assistant Girls Basketball Coaching position. The Griggs-Midkota Track team WILL NOT be going to any meets on Friday, May 10th. The Varsity & JH will attend the track meet on Saturday, May 11th in Larimore beginning at 11am. Bus leaves MHS at 8:30am.
If your student is in need any immunizations, Foster County Health will be at the High School one last time this school year. If you need to make an appointment for your student(s), please call Foster County Health at 652-3087.

Today's track meet scheduled in Larimore has been cancelled.
Today's JH baseball games in Devils Lake & JV baseball games in Tolna have been cancelled. We are still waiting to hear on the softball games in Rolla.
