The Midkota High School Entrepreneur Class taught by Mrs. Halvorson was available this morning at the Midkota elementary school to serve up their tasty coffee, smoothie or hot chocolate treats to celebrate Reading month!
Their business is named WETT (Wyatt, Ethan, Tristin and Trae) and they are “running” two companies this year; a vending machine and a coffee bar.
Thank you to Mrs. Halvorson and to the WETT students for coming over! The treats were yummy and enjoyed!

The Midkota elementary students were surprised this afternoon with a Tigirlily virtual visit! They read the book Kindness Rules, answered questions and played their new #1 hit song, “Somebody Does”!
Huge thanks to the girls for “stopping” in and sharing your talents with out kids! It was greatly appreciated and the kids had a great time!

Hannah Ehlers has been named a candidate for the US Presidential Scholars Program. The US Presidential Scholars program was established in 1964, by executive order of the President, to recognize and honor some of our nation’s most distinguished graduating high school seniors. In 1979, the program was extended to recognize students who demonstrate exceptional talent in the visual, creative, and performing arts. In 2015, the program was again extended to recognize students who demonstrate ability and accomplishment in career and technical education fields. Each year, up to 161 students are named as Presidential Scholars, one of the nation’s highest honors for high school students.
She is one of only ten candidates across the state representing North Dakota Class B schools. Way to go Hannah!
