Last week Midkota Elementary observed Kindness Week. We had some fun dress up days and tried to encourage each other with our words and actions. We gathered everyone together in the gym to send you our Midkota love through a picture. It is our hope that we act with kindness all year long, but it is fun to enjoy a few different activities during the cold January days to keep us motivated and engaged.
Last year the Great Kindness Challenge was observed in 115 countries by almost 17 million students, and Midkota is excited to be a part of that once again! #GREATKINDNESS CHALLENGE
Midkota Public School and buses will be two hours late tomorrow, Feb. 1st. Road surfaces are expected to be icy and blowing snow will be a factor for tomorrow's travel. Please stay safe Midkota.
The C squad BBB game vs EKM scheduled for today, January 29th, is CANCELED. The JV BBB game will start at 4:00pm followed by Varsity.

January 31st - JV GBB canceled and changed to a 2-quarter C squad game using the following schedule for the night
7th BBB - 4:30pm
8th BBB - 5:30pm
C GBB(2 quarters) - 6:30pm
V GBB - 7:30pm
February 8th - 7,8,C GBB games RESCHEDULED at McVille vs Nelson County - 4:30pm start time

The JV Boys Basketball game at Ellendale on Tuesday, January 25th, has been CANCELED. JV GBB plays at 4:30pm, V GBB at 6:00pm, and V BBB at 7:30pm. The bus for the V BBB and JV/V GBB teams leaves GCC at 1:20 and MHS at 1:50. C/JV BBB will not have practice. Kelby Gjovik placed 2nd in Dramatic, 2nd in Poetry, and 4th in Impromptu at the Dakota Prairie Speech Meet on Saturday, January 22. Congratulations Kelby!
