My name is Sandi Black. I am a proud alum of Midkota Public School! I graduated in 2001 from MHS and went on to receive my teaching degree from Jamestown College in 2005. After I graduated, I married my husband, Gavin and we took our first teaching jobs at Burke Central where I taught 3rd and 4th grade. Before we made it back to Mustang territory we adventured to Central Valley Public School for two years and I taught 6th grade. Currently I am a reading strategist at Midkota Elementary.
Gavin is now a fulltime farmer/rancher and we have 4 children, Grandin 10, Barett 8, Brinn 5, and Brekken 2. I love to bake, cheer on my favorite sports teams, and go hunting with family during the fall.
I enjoy living in this community and working in a place that cares so much about each other!
